Minnie Bowen, 93, Bethany, Mo., died March 23 at a Bethany nursing home. She was born March 12, 1901, in Ridgeway, Missouri and was a homemaker.

She held membership in the First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter no. 23, both of Bethany.

On April 3, 1920, she married Vernon Bowen. He died March 25, 1987.

Survivors include three daughters, Melba Watson, Louise Sharp, Rosalie Linthacum, all of Bethany; two sisters, Helen Billups and Creta Reeder, both of Ridgeway; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the Roberson-Polley Funeral Home, Bethany, with burial in the Miriam Cemetery, Bethany.
