Richard “Rich” W. Baker, 69 of Streator passed away Thursday (August 23th) at Hines VA Hospital in Maywood.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at Phillips Cemetery. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rich was born on June 23, 1949 in Streator to Walter and Edith (Warwick) Baker.

Surviving is his mother, Edith Baker of Streator, daughter, Debbie (Dwayne) Sorenson of FL., 2 grandchildren, brothers, William Mitchell of Chicago, Glenn (Sandra) Baker of Streator and Clyde (Susan) Baker of Streator, sisters, Barbara (David) Sloan, Pamela Baker, Margery (Thomas) Wissen, Janet (Roberto) Arevalo and Penelope Baker all of Streator, 9 nieces and nephews and 27 great nieces and nephews.

Rich is preceded in death by his father and sister, Marilyn Baker.

Rich attended Streator Grade schools and Streator High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Commonwealth Edison.

Memorials may be made to his family.
