Newton was born to Isaac Newton Sharp and Mildred Irene (Hubbard) Sharp and served 20 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1968. He held a degree in accounting and worked as an accountant and bookkeeper until his death. He was very active with his church, the Masons and City of Hudson. Survivors beside his wife Eleanor included: sisters June (Arthur) Price, JoAnn Larrabee and Betty Ruth (Gordon) Kuntz; stepsons Kevin (Darcee) Rucker and Tim (Sandy) Rucker. Memorial Services held March 10 at St. James Methodist Church, Hudson. Interment of cremains held at Fort Logan. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorial Contributions made to St. James Methodist Church, 506 Beech Street, Hudson 80642
