Pioneer Citizen Funeral Tuesday

Nixon—Mrs. Helen Williams, 90, died at her home here March 15.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 18 at 10 a.m. in tje First Methodist church, with the Rev.Lester H, Haines in charge.
Special music at the service was by Dr, C. J. Merritt, R. G. Haussmann and Rev, Haines. Mrs. Willie Colwell accompanied at the organ.
Preceded in death by her husband Tom on 1944, Mrs. Williams is survived by two sons, Jesse and Ross of Los Cruces, N. M.; five daughters, Mrs. Edna Wicke, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Miss Gertrude Williams and Mrs. Florence Brown of Nixon; Mrs. Vera Razz, Houston; and Mrs. Paula Rutherford of San Antonio; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. R. C. Hill of Nixon; Mrs. Edna Duke, Houston, Mrs. Runice Coleman, Los Angles, Cal. and Mrs. Grace Russell, Inglewood, California.
Burial was in the Nixon cemetery.
