Graveside services for Thelma Allen Patteson, who died on Friday in Colonial Nursing home, were held on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Nixon cemetery. The Rev. Michael Cowey and the Rev. John Carr officiated, with arrangements by Finch Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patteson was born on Nov. 18, 1898 in Kingsbury, to Wayne and Maude Wiley Allen. She married to Gus Patteson on Nov. 18, 1920, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1974. They made their home on South Parker Street in Nixon and were members of the United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Patteson on Dec. 9, 1942 and a grandson, Cliffy Brown, on May 20, 1965.
