Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 27th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.
Janet was born on July 11, 1936 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Albert and Verona (Blocker) Muhs. She graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1954.
Janet married Les Denklau on November 19, 1955 in Davenport. Les passed away April 8, 2011.
Janet and her husband owned and operated Union Supply in Clinton.
She enjoyed walking her dog Casey, being outdoors and boating.
Janet is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Kuehl and Cathy (Bill) Erickson both of Clinton; a grandson Jason Kuehl; a step granddaughter Carli Erickson and her sister Dee Selzer of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two infant brothers, Earl and Gary.
