Muncie - Wilma Ruth Malicoat, 98, Muncie, went to be with her Lord Saturday morning, August 25, 2018, at The Lynd Place.
She was born Saturday, July 10, 1920, in Elwood, Indiana, the daughter of Everett and Nellie Brown. Wilma was an Avon District Manager for twenty-one years. She was a member of the Tabor Church. She enjoyed working needlepoint, playing the organ and piano. She sang in the YWCA Choral Group and the Delaware Extension Group.
Survivors include her brother, Roland Brown; nieces and nephews, Rick (wife Corinna) Brown, Debbie Stow; Stephanie Renick, Jennifer (husband Jim) Sandberg and Jacki (husband Bob) Sellmansberger; sister-in-law, Pat Brown and two canine friends, Rivets and Cricket.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Malicoat in 2007; brother, Howard Brown; sister-in-law, Marianne Brown; and a nephew, Gary Brown.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana with Jim Sandberg officiating. Burial, with graveside services will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
