She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 24, 1917, a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Mirra) Carletti.
Philomena has been a resident of Brightview Senior Living for 10 years, formerly of Westmont, NJ.
She was a member of Saint Titus RC Church of East Norriton and a former member of Holy Saviour Church of Westmont, NJ.
Philomena was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. She loved to travel with her family and especially enjoyed going to Hawaii with her late husband Matthew. Above all, she was a wonderful mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Philomena was the beloved wife of the late Matthew J. Potcher who passed in 1998.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joan ( & Anthony) Amorosi of Trappe and Marie ( & Wayne) Horn of Jeffersonville; two granddaughters, Joann Shelly and Cheryl DeMichele; and four great grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Amber & Anthony.
Along with her husband and parents, Philomena was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Perna.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.
Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will take place in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
