Tirzah Jane Horner was born on March 15, 1852, in Jefferson, Indiana, the only child of Andrew J. and Susannah J. She married Andrew Martin Corrie on September 10, 1872, in Jefferson, Indiana. They had nine children in 19 years. She died on February 15, 1925, in Greenwood, Indiana, at the age of 72, and was buried there.
It is written in the family Bible that Tirzah's mother died 4 days after she was born. I found Tirzah living with her grandparents (Henry and Nancy Baker) in the Saluda Twp, Jefferson Co. 1860 Census.
