Doris Irene Boyer 88 died Sunday May 6, 2007. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Sparta City Cemetery.
Miss Boyer was a native and life long resident of Sparta and was a retired Educator of 43 years having taught in the Hancock County School System and at John Hancock Academy. She was a member of the Gaissert United Methodist Church serving as Church Treasurer for over 40 years.
Survivors include nieces and nephews: L.G "Doc" (Jane) Hussey and Pat Hussey all of Sparta, Linda Peacock (Emory) and William Hussey all of Eastman, Barbara Lewis (Charles) of Conyers, and Marion Hussey (Rita) of Alamo, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
