The funeral service for Albert E. Norton, 90, of Exeter, Calif., a longtime former area resident and father of Clovis Norton of Cushing, has been set for 2 p.m. Monday in the Cushing First Church of God, with Rev. Edwin Beasley, pastor. officiating. Interment, under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home will be in the Ripley Cemetery. Mr. Norton was born September 20, 1879, in Kansas. He came to Oklahoma with his parents as a child, settling at Ripley, where he lived until 35 years ago, when he moved to Calif. He was married to Della Kidder September 22, 1907, at Ingles, Okla. Mr. Norton died in Exeter, Calif., February 24, 1970. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Relatives are his wife, Mrs. Della Norton of the home, two sons, Clovis Norton of Cushing, Cletus Norton of Odessa, Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Wolf of Exeter, Calif., one sister, Mrs. Maude Kidder of Independence, Mo., several grandchldren and other relatives.
