Addison Hope Abernathey

Addison Hope Abernathey passed away on May 23, 2018 with her mommy and daddy by her side, after a 17 month long battle with cancer.

Addie was born on March 24, 2013 in Boise, Idaho at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center to parents John and Kristee Abernathey. Her love, strength, bravery and joy inspired all of us to never give up no matter what life throws at us. We will always remember her smile, her Addie-tude, crazy dancing, sweet snuggles, silly faces and free spirit. She enjoyed anything outdoors, girlie, babies, or playing kitchen. Her true love was playing doctor, especially with her papa. She was determined that she would be a nurse and a mommy when she grew up.

Addie will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her parents, John and Kristee; her sister Aydree; her brother Luke; her paternal grandparents Don and Belinda Abernathey; her maternal grandparents Mike and Cindy Maier; and numerous other special aunts, uncles, cousins, and many relatives and friends who loved Addie very much.

We could never express enough thanks to St. Luke’s MSTI for the incredible care and support throughout Addie's journey.

A celebration of Addie's life, service with reception, will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00am at Calvary Chapel Boise, 123 Auto Dr. Boise, Idaho, with a private graveside service to follow.

Addie would love for everyone to dress in bright colors, especially pink and purple. In lieu of flowers, donations for pediatric cancer support can be made to: Addie's Hope Inc., Idaho Independent Bank, Attn: Debbie Cleverley, 401 W. Front Street Suite 200, Boise, Idaho, 83702.
