GEORGE KEKUAWELA AI, SR., 90 Beloved Dad, Papa and Tutu Man of Haleiwa passed away on August 9, 2018 peacefully at home. He was born in Hana and raised in Kaupo, Maui.
He worked for Kaupo Ranch, Hawaiian Pine Ranch, 37 years for Meadow Gold Dairies of Kawailoa, Northshore Cattle Co. and Ranch Manager for Kawailoa Ranch. He was a past member of Waialua Hawaiian Civic Club for many years and was also inducted into the ‘Paniolo Hall of Fame’ in 1999. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waialua ward.
He is survived by his sons: George (Kehau-deceased) Ai, Jr., Keith Leialoha Ai, Paul (Rosalie) Auna, Paul Lanikai Auna, Jr. (deceased). Daughters: Melody Leimomi Viernes (deceased), Blossom Maile (Val-deceased) Adric, Sherry Punani (Donald) Ramos, Darlene (Filiberto) Ai-Lopez, Paulette (Tai) Enesi, Paula (Stacy) Cuesta.
Brother Simeon Kuulei-deceased (Gloria) Kamai and sister Audrey (Paul) Horalan.
