Mr. Tommy "Stump" Bonds, 68, a resident of Union City, died Monday, August 20, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his family. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mr. Bonds was born on July 31, 1950, in Gadsden, AL, son of the late Jack and Frances Louise (Clark) Bonds. He married the former Cathy Jo Guthrie August 19, 1969. She survives. He was a retired employee of the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City.
In addition to his wife of forty-nine years, Mr. Bond is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Harold Jenkins of Gulf Breeze, Fl; a son, Justin Bonds of Martin; three grandchildren, Chance Farmer, of Martin, Peyton Williamson, of Pensacola, Fl. and Hayden Jenkins of Gulf Breeze, Fl; and a sister, Cindy Kiser, of Pedmont, Al.
