She was born on August 17, 1933 in Sandoval, IL to Dwight and Lena Briscoe. She married John Faloon, Sr. on April 18, 1969 and he survives.
She is also survived by three sons, John (Shawn) Faloon, Jr., Bill Faloon, and James (Kathleen) Faloon; two daughters, Patty Henton and Tonia (Michael) Faloon-Sullivan; one sister, Ardeth (Gene) Bricker; one brother, Lane (Sharon) Briscoe; nine grandchildren, Chris, Aidan and Joe Faloon, Andrew (Lauren) Henton, Amanda Henton, Nicole (Jay) Hild, Seth and Erin Faloon, and Ellie Sullivan; two great-granddaughters, Reagan and Ryan Henton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lester and Roy Briscoe; two sisters, Karen Foltz and Melba Taylor; son-in-law, Kenny Henton; and grandson, Caleb Faloon.
Darlene was a member of West Side Christian Church. She graduated from Sandoval High School in 1950 and worked at Franklin Life Insurance in Springfield as a keypunch operator for many years, but her favorite role was that of a homemaker for her beloved family.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
