Connie L. Armstrong, 75, of Middleburg passed away Friday evening, Aug. 17, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born March 31, 1943 in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Marvin E. and Josephine R. Mull Aucker. She was married to James M. Armstrong for 29 years, until his passing on March 31, 2008.
She had been employed at the Kinney Shoe Factory, Bonanza restaurant, and as an EMT.
Connie was a member of First United Church of Christ, Middleburg and volunteered at the Reliance Hose Company #1, Middleburg. She enjoyed bingo, NASCAR and watching the Hallmark channel.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life.
Surviving Connie are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Michelle Kuhns, and Bryan Kuhns, all of Middleburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Wayne Reynolds of Selinsgrove; two step-daughters, Marlo Dever of Ohio, and Joy DeLong of Beavertown; five grandchildren, Shannon Kuhns and her companion Wes Walter, Kyle Kuhns, Brittany Laird and her husband Kurt, Courtney Shirey and her fiance Brendan Lafferty, and Johnette Reynolds; seven great-grandchildren, Marley, Easton, Weston, Broghan, Keyan, Klohie, Brendan, and a great-granddaughter eagerly awaited; two brothers, Donald Aucker and Richard Aucker, both of Middleburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Kenneth Drumheller of Kreamer, and Shirley and James Moyer of Mount Pleasant Mills; two nieces, Wendy Gardner, and Jolynn Weikel and her husband Chris; and one aunt, Pauline Hoover.
Connie was predeceased by two nephews, Corey and Michael Moyer; one daughter-in-law, Wendy Kuhns; and her niece Wendy's husband, Todd.
At Connie's request, funeral services will be private, with the Rev Alice Rauch, officiating.
Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
