Drowning of a Boy - Elijah Burns, aged 9 years, was drowned at Beacham's Shipyard, foot of Warren avenue, yesterday afternoon. He was playing on some staging which was floating in the dock, and slipping into the water, he was unable to get out, and sank before aid could reach him. Coroner Bell declined to hold an inquest. Burns lived at 106 Battery avenue with his grandmother, both of his parents being dead.
