A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2008 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Lindquist officiating.
Mrs. Bobo was born September 30, 1925 in Davidson County to Jerry O. Boaze and Mary Lillian Sink Boaze. Meredith attended Lexington public schools and was a graduate of Salem College. She was a cherished and devoted wife and mother and a loving friend to many. From 1974 to 1992, she was the financial officer of Boaze Motor Company.
A lifelong member of First Methodist Church, she was also an original member of the Spruill Coed Class and a longstanding member of both The Charity League of Lexington and The Sorosis Book Club. Her husband of 50 years, Roy S. Bobo passed away in 1998. Surviving is a son, Jerry Page Bobo of Greensboro.
