Joyce M. Dornton, age 92, of Southfield, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018.
She was born April 8, 1926, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Frances (Pratt) Borowski.
Joyce married Ralph A. Dornton on June 4, 1949. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making greeting cards for birthday's, anniversary's and other special events. Joyce was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Southfield.
Joyce is the beloved wife of 69 years to Ralph; dear mother of Dennis, Brian and the late Lynn (Henry) Andrusz (D. 2015); loving grandmother of Hollie, Cassidy, Allen and Adam; great grandmother of Hunter, Axel and Jeremy; fond twin sister of June Swain and numerous nieces.
The Dornton family will receive guests on Monday, August 20th, from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
A funeral service for Joyce is planned for Tuesday, August 21st, 10 am, also at the funeral home.
Interment will immediately follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
