Jeanette lived a long and full life, there was grief and there was joy, and thru it all she managed to keep her humor. She loved family; nothing made her happier than to know there was another baby in the family.
Jeanette is survived by her sons, Ronnie Shapiro and wife, Doris, and Herbert Shapiro Jr. and wife, Suzy; grandson, Harry Shapiro and wife, Shannon; great-grandsons, Parker and Ryder Shapiro; sister-in-law, Charlotte (Lolly) Klein; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. All of whom she loved dearly.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sarah Levit and Evelyn (Ebbie) Goot; her husband, father of her children, Herbert Shapiro; and her husband, Jack Finger.
The family wishes to thank the employees of Seven Acres and Vitas Hospice for their compassion and loving care of Jeanette. Services were graveside at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet St., Houston, Texas on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at 10:45 am.
