Davina "Dove", a resident of Española, passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident. She was predeceased by her father Ostalio "Stal" Archuleta Jr.; paternal grandfather Orlando "BooBoo" Archuleta; and maternal grandmother Eulalia “LaLa” Garcia.
Dove was survived by her mother Cecilia M. Garcia “CC Ryder”; brother Estevan Garcia (Michelle); sisters: Reina Garcia (Chris), Valentina Archuleta (Raymond), and Margarita Archuleta (Steve-O); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dove was a loving and caring person that would give her shirt off her back to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A Rosary was on 16 August 2018 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A second Rosary was on 17 August 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiú. Memorial Mass was on 18 August 2018 also at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiú. Burial followed in the Abiquiú Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers: Jayden Garcia, Amberly Faith Roybal, Rica Martinez, Elora McCure, Amanda McCure, and Ashley Martinez.
