Tommie D. Craigg, 80 of New Cambria, died Jan. 31, 2002, at Macon Health Care Center in Macon.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002 at Rhodes Funeral Home in Brookfield. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery, near Lagonda.
Tommie Daniel was born Feb. 16, 1921 in rural Marceline, the son of Jessie Austin and Becky Ann (Haney) Craigg. He married Nora M. Head on March 29, 1941 in Marceline.
He was a member of Puzzle Ridge Baptist Church. He was an ordained minister in 1955 in the Baptist faith. He served 12 years with MFA in New Cambria.
Survivors include his wife, Nora of Macon; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Austin and Vivian Craigg, Robert William and Annabelle Craigg, all of New Cambria; and Dale Lee and Pam Craigg of Clarence; three daughters and sons-in-law, Helen Marie and Lester Smith, Clara Fay and Terry Packham, all of Brookfield; Bettie Mae and Darrell Milliron of Winigan; three sisters, Lottie Staats of Sun Valley, Arizona, Edna Grunwald of Marceline, and Earlene Kern of Brookfield; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Kenneth LeRoy and Robert William Craigg, Jr.; and two nephews, Martin Lee Smith and Dennis Harold Grunwald.
