Jerry was a very hard worker, who instilled in his family the importance of being prompt and on time. He was a quiet and loving, husband, father, and brother. Jerry had been a member of the Wellington Eagles since 1979. He loved flying remote control airplanes and had been an RC pilot for over 50 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 32 years, Constance “Connie” (nee Cooper) Naylor; son, Sean (Jen) Cooper; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Treasa (Dave) Williams, Scott (Linda) Smith, Ken (Kathy) Smith, Jeff Smith, Mike Smith, Rick (Mindy) Naylor, Allen (Michelle) Naylor, David Naylor, Scott (Barbara) Naylor, Chrystal (Dean) Poling, Hope Smith and Tina Smith; he is also survived by a ton of nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Kerry Smith.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to Norton-Eastman Funeral Home in care of the Naylor family.
