BLOUNTSTOWN - Woodrow W. Aultman, 92, a retired carpenter, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005.

The service will be at 3 p.m. CST Sunday at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church. A burial with Masonic rites provided by Lodge No. 109 F&AM will be at Nettle Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. CST today at Peavy Funeral Home.

Mr. Aultman was born in Worth County, Ga., and had lived in Blountstown for most of his life. He served as a Calhoun County commissioner for 16 years. Woodrow was a member of the Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Blountstown and was a member of the Dixie Masonic Lodge No. 109 F&AM in Blountstown for more than 65 years.

Survivors include a son, James Franklin "Jimmy" Aultman (and wife Cynthia) of Blountstown; a daughter, Margaret Davis (and husband Joe Reese) of Blountstown; a sister, Ruby Crisson of Long Key; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Aultman; five brothers; Thomas Marshall Aultman, James Warren Aultman, William Davis Aultman, Oscar Lamar Aultman, Marvin Jefferson Aultman and two sisters, Lola Weston and Mary Ellen Bryant.
