His birth name was Bjorn Rudin Lofgren and he went by Bjorn in the 1920 and 1930 census but with the 1940 census he was William except he used Bjorn when he married Frances Thompson on 15 Mar 1941 in Seattle. William was the son of Harry G Lofgren and Edvarda (Eva) Rudin who married 21 Dec 1914 in Seattle. William and Frances had three known children who were listed as survivors in Frances' obit: Susan, Bruce, and Michael, all living in Vancouver at the time of her death in 1960.
On 28 Dec 1962, William married Blanche Dindot in Seattle. Blanche was the widow of Ralph Edward Dindot who died 21 May 1961, and she was the daughter of Walter David Butler (1890-1981) and Katherine E Vorspeter (1890-1960).
