Mrs. McKnight who passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Arbor Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 2, 1911 in Tallapoosa County, AL.
She was a member of Philista Chapter #184 Order of Eastern Star. Public viewing will be Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The family will receive guest from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mrs. McKnight will be at the church one hour prior to the services.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dorothy Cooper of Opelika, AL; two grandchildren, Willie (Sonya) Cooper and Kristal Cooper; one great-granddaughter, Nikita Cooper; devoted cousins, Cora L. Carlisle, Lewis (Betty) Palm, Bernice (Lionel) Davis and Cassandra (Raul) Carras; her church family and friends.

***Requested grave photo*** "This is a small cemetery. I searched the entire area and could not find this
ladies grave. I talked to a man at the church that has been a member his whole life and he has never heard of Ms. McKnight. This may be the wrong church as there are several Mt. Olive CME churches in this area." 11/15/13
