FARMVILLE - Aaron H. Callihan, 86, of Farmville, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
He was born in Vaughan, NC on February 7, 1932 to the late Wiley J. and Ina F. Callihan. One of 10 children, Aaron graduated from Littleton High School in North Carolina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired supervisor at A.C. Monk Tobacco company. He thoroughly enjoyed working in his garden, and was very mechanically oriented and could fix most anything that could break. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Aaron is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Charlotte; his two sons, Daniel (Colleen) and David (Tracy); grandchildren, Kathryn Callihan, Matthew Callihan, Taylor Callihan, and Caroline Callihan; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1 pm at Farmville Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Farmville Presbyterian Church Family Life Center. The graveside service will be held at Calvary United Methodist Church in Littleton NC at 5 pm.
