Sue Breland Flurry, 93, of Hanging Moss Road, a retired teacher, died of heart failure Thursday at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the High Street Chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Flurry was a Stateline native and had lived in Jackson since 1932. She was a member of Riverside Independent Methodist Church and taught the Disciples Sunday school class. She was a member of the Jackson-Hinds Retired Teachers Association, the W D. Holder Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Lemerienda Luncheon Club. She was the widow of A. L. Flurry, who died in 1974.
Survivors include: sisters, Irene Breland and Kathleen McAlister, both of Jackson; and brother, Dan E. Breland of Jackson.
