Wife of Paul Snell of Fortuna; mother of Mrs. Nina Brown of Ferndale, Mrs. Nancy Warden of Carlotta, Michael Snell of Eureka, Paul Snell Jr., of Marysville, Wn., Mrs. Grace Dill and Mrs. Diane Reading, both of Fortuna; sister of Mrs. Emma Albee of Ruth, Larry Felt of Miranda and Dwight Felt of McKinleyville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
A native of Myrtle Point, Ore., Mrs. Snell came to California in 1912, settling in Trinity County. She moved to Humboldt County in 1927, living many years in Carlotta before coming to Fortuna. She was 64.
Friends are invited to attend services in the chapel of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. Interment, Sunrise Cemetery, Fortuna.
