SMITH, C.E. "JUNIOR," 85, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center, Radcliff, KY. C.E. was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and also attended Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church and was a retired building contractor and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wives, Anna Ruth Mills Smith and Alice Fackler Smith. He is survived by four children, Gene Smith (Betty), Judy Hicks (Mark Gossett) Rick Smith (Debbie), all of Brandenburg, KY and Roger Smith (Alice), of Irvington, KY; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Irvington, with burial in St. George Cemetery, Brandenburg. Visitation: after noon Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to either St. George or New Highland Cemeteries.
