Leon Joseph Aucoin, 39, died at the family residence in Pineville, LA on Sunday, May 7, 1944 at 9:05 pm. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Brodhead Aucoin; two daughters, Peggy Joyce Aucoin and Shirley Rae Aucoin, of Pineville; four sisters, Miss Clara Aucoin of Pineville, Mrs. I.A. Glusman of Lake Charles, LA, Mrs. Ralph Landry of Lafayette, LA, and Mrs. Frank Hoffpauir of Lake Charles; five brothers, Fernand and Disire Aucoin of Shreveport, LA, George and Adam Aucoin of Port Arthur, TX, and M.J. Aucoin of Pineville.

The funeral procession will leave Kramer Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 9, 1944 and proceed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pineville for services. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park under the direction of Kramers.
