Obituary from the Gilmer Free Press Friday August 10, 2018: Rosemary Jane Montgomery, age 82, of Weston, WV went to her heavenly home, Wednesday August 08, 2018 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Weston, WV on September 29, 1935 a daughter of the late Johnie Richard Hefner and Mary Ann Batten Hefner. Rosemary dedicated her life to her family and home. Her favorite times were spent with her family and friends. She also enjoyed quiet time spent working puzzles and admiring her hummingbirds. Her honest and loving traits will be carried on by two daughters Charlotte McVey and her husband, Daniel, of Cross Lanes, WV and Debora Workman and husband, Steve, of Glen, WV. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Aimee LeRose and husband, Scott, of Milton, WV; Leslie Skidmore of Charleston, WV; Dakota Montgomery, of Summersville, WV; Jeffrey Montgomery of Fairmont, WV; and her four great-grandchildren: Sam, Trace, Nevaeh and Landon. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her son Daniel Keith Montgomery, Jr., and brothers Homer, James, Eugene and Gary Hefner. Friends and family will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Road in Jane Lew from 11 AM - 1 PM on Friday, August 10, 2018. Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery.
