Lillian was first married on October 31st, 1914 to #1 Richard Leonard Danner, son of Charles (Carl) Danner & Caroline (Lena) Wens, in Kane Co., IL. Richard, born in Germany on 20 April 1890, had immigrated with his family to the US in 1895. The couple had their first child, Gertrude, in Illinois before moving briefly to Levant, Grand Forks, ND where their son Leonard was born. They returned to Illinois by 1921 prior to daughter Hazel’s birth but divorced not long after. Richard, who sometimes was recorded as born in Illinois, remarried years later to an Elizabeth née unknown (1912-2005). He died in 1982 & is buried in the Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett, IL.
Lillian remarried to #2 August F Beart of Belgium on June 20th, 1925 in Kane Co., IL. August adopted her three children & the couple had three of their own: Alice, August Jr., & Leona. They lived first in Wayne, DuPage Co., IL, rural Cook Co., IL near Elgin & later in Burlington Township, Kane Co., IL.
