NAVILLE, GRACE M. ROBERTS, 96, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, IN. Gracie was the widow of Richard "Dick" Geltmaker and Harry Naville, a native of Floyds Knobs, a retired employee with Colgate Palmolive Co. and past member of the Colgate Credit Union Board. An avid bowler, Grace participated in the Senior Olympics Games annually, was selected as a local "Torchbearer" for the 1996 Olympic Games and was most recently a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash Award from the Governor of Indiana. She was the founder and past president of the Senior Citizens at St. Mary at the Knobs Catholic Church, where she was a lifelong member, lector and Eucharistic minister. She was a member, past president and vice president of the Floyd County Extension Homemakers, charter member of the Floyds Knobs Community Club and member of the Ladies Auxiliary Hobart Beach Post #1693 V.F.W. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Virginia Naville Sperzel; nieces and nephews, Vaughn de Lee Roberts Reas, Regis Roberts (Liz), Elizabeth Ann Lorch, Elaine Roberts Bangle (J), Stan Huncilman, R.K. Huncilman, Phil Losson (Helen) and Phylis Losson; great- nieces and nephews, Rosalind Metzmeier, Maralind Hess, Mark Reas and Michaelle R. Fisher, D.V.M.; and numerous great-, great-great- and great-great-great- nieces and nephews. Funeral liturgy celebration: 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, with a prayer service at 5 p.m. Sunday.
