Fairview – Robey Jack Wright, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was Owner & Operator of Wrights Construction Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Spring Mountain Baptist Church, a 1951 graduate of Fairview High School and was a US Army veteran during the Korean War.

Mr. Wright was the son of the late Tilman Garfield Wright and Linnie Whitaker Wright and was also preceded in death by his brother, Clifton Wright.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, whom he married September 10, 1952, Shirley Wilson Wright of the home; son, Douglas Wright of Arden; daughter, Sandra Wright of Fairview and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Spring Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Roberts and Rev. Charles Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Cane Creek Cemetery.
