Blair C. Libengood

Blair C. Libengood, 73, 150 Morewood Ave., Blairsville, died yesterday at his home. Born July 17, 1896, at Blairsville R.D. 1 (Strangford) son of the late John and Annie Dodson Libengood. Retired trainman for the Penn Central Railroad. Member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville, United Transportation Union, formerly B. of R.T.

Surviving widow, Mrs. Leora Taubler Libengood; daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Helen) Adams, Enola, Pa.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Glenn Libengood, Ethel Libengood, both of Blairsville; brother, Paul Libengood preceded [him] in death in April.

Family will receive friends at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. after 7 p.m. today, with services there Sunday, 1:30 p.m., the Rev. John C. Cogley in charge. Interment in SS. Simon and Jude Cemetery.
