March 19. - Walter, the 10-year-old son of William Clark, of this place, met with a horrible death about 2:30 o'clock this afternoon, being almost instantly killed by train No. 23 on the Michigan Central. He was waiting for an eastbound freight train to pass, and did not hear the rapidly approaching passenger train on the opposite track in front of which he stepped."
