My beloved half-brother owned Upstuff's Hallmark in Cabin John Shopping Center in Potomac, Maryland for over three decades.John Charles Culler of Monrovia, MD passed away on March 27, 2011.

Born on September 29, 1953 in Washington, DC, he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. Culler Jr. and Frances E. Culler.

John was educated in Montgomery County Md. and obtained a Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland.

He became known as "friend " to many in the neighborhood of Potomac, MD where he owned and operated a retail store for 35 years.

He dedicated a great portion of his life to animal rescue. His much-loved shepherd "Bear" preceded him in death. He will be missed by his beloved "Canine Kids": Dakota, Bru, and Sam.


Surviving family members include his brother William Lee Culler, life long mate and business partner Donna G. Vernon; daughter Valerie A. Youngblood, son Vincent A. Vernon, and grandchildren Emily, Hannah, Oliver, Sylas, and Tatum.
