ALEXANDER, RICHARD “RICK” LEON, born September 3, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Leon and Betty Alexander, passed away on August 3, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was a loyal fan of the University of Texas Longhorns.  While studying business at UT Austin, he served as president of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and was a member of the Texas Cowboys organization where he forged lifelong friendships with his “brothers.” He spent the majority of his career working in the tile and marble industry with Interceramic Tile and Stone.

 Rick is survived by his children Brandy Alexander, Matt Alexander (Ashley), stepdaughter Lora Bennett, and 5 grandchildren who he loved dearly. He is also survived by his siblings Linda Collier, Terry Alexander (Barbara), Beverly Alexander, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father A. Leon Alexander, mother Betty Alexander, sister Sherry Hale, and wife Rhonda Alexander.

Visitation is from 5-7 pm on Monday, August 6th and funeral services are at 11 am, Tuesday, August 7th at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065.  

Pallbearers include dear friends Matt Burns, Bob Cain, Mike Gresham, Dave Mayes, Dusty Miller, and Ricky Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.  James 1:27
