MRS. ANNIE CARTER DIES.
Mrs. Annie Turner Carter, 74 years old, widow of James Newton Carter of Prince William County. Va., died of heart disease at her residence, 1526 Seventeenth street, last night. Mrs Carter was a great-granddaughter of John Carr, a soldier in the American Revolution. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Mrs. Carter is survived by four sons, Thomas Irving Carter of New York citv, William Minor and Samuel Newton Carter of Baltimore, Md., and Henry Hilton Carter of Washington, D. C., and five daughters, Mrs. Clyde Macomb, Mrs. James W. Ayres and Mrs. William R. Ersfeld of Washington, D. C.: Mrs. Warren P. Clarke of Woodbridge, Va.: Mrs. George Saufley of Hazzard, Ky., and a large number of grandchildren.
