Waun Lamont (W. L.) Audrain, age 87 passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the BSA Hospice in Amarillo. He was born September 2, 1930 at Henrietta, Texas to Samuel Lake and Kathrine Cornelia ( Burch) Audrain. He served as a medic in the Korean War and had retired from Sid Richardson Carbon Black where he worked for 32 years. He was a pillar of the family and his Godly wisdom will surely be missed.

He is survived by his wife Ruth, one sister, Winona Massingill of Amarillo, four children: Arlin and wife Karen of Fritch, Kevin and wife Lori of Stinnett, Karen Holland and husband John of Borger, and Sue Nelson of Temple ,Texas; 3 grandchildren: Kalin and Melisa Audrain of Fritch, Lori and Chuck Williams of Stinnett and Joli and Shane Griffith of Ingleside, Texas; 8 great grandchildren: Tanner Audrain, Taryn Audrain, Dalin Williams, Mason Williams, Tori Griffith, Wyatt Griffith, Bryar Griffith and Wryder Griffith.

Mr. Audrain will lie in state at Brown's Chapel in Fritch on Sunday, August 5 from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm and on Monday, August 6 from 9:00 am-7:00 pm.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Borger.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Fritch.
