Bible Grove - J F Colburn, age 79, a retired Merchant and Farmer of this community, died at his home here at 9:05pm, December 27. He had been in failing health for about 2 years.

Surviving: wife, Mary, and the following children:
1 - Leon Colborn, Fort Worth, Texas
2 - Mrs Stennie Schmulbach, Ashley, Illinois
3 - Mrs Dessie Fitzpatrick, Chicago, Illinois
4 - Mrs Caroline Padon, Chicago, Illinois - who is now in Old Mexico
5 - William Colborn, Bible Grove, Illinois
6 - Miss Zelda Colborn, Chicago, Illinois
7 - Mrs Gladys Ormsby, Effingham, Illinois

Services Friday afternoon. Burial in the Shouse Cemetery near Bible Grove.
