Bernard J. Ascheberg, 74, of 1209 Logan avenue, died in Home hospital Wednesday at 1 p. m. where he had been a patient two hours. He had been in failing health two years. Born in this city, he worked for many years as a machinist at Ross Gear and Tool company, and other local plants and for the past 20 years, he was a bus driver for Fairfield township. In 1902 he married Ida May Emdee who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Edna Mc-Cabe of Arlington, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. Anna K. Little of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Emma Burg-man of Ft. Mitchell, Ky. He was a life member of the Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church.
