Mrs. Nettie M. Roose, 72, of the Lexington Road, died Monday at 2:45 a.m. at the City Hospital following a brief illness of 10 days. She was a life resident of the Alliance district. She was born in Freeburg, the daughter of the late Samuel and Caroline Ruff. Her husband, Emery R. Roose, died in 1943. Mrs. Roose was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Friendly Bible Class.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Howard E. Hamlin of Alliance R.D. 2, one son, Elvin H. Roose of Alliance, three grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Emma Ruff of Freeburg. Rev. W. E. Price will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
