Wilburton, Okla., July 2, - (Special) - Funeral service was held Friday for Samuel Patterson Lee, 79 years old, who died in a hospital in Muskogee, Okla. Officiating were Douglas Poe and Rev. Guy Hall. Burial was in Wilburton cemetery.
Mr. Lee came to Oklahoma in early youth, and homesteaded near Pawhuska, later making two land runs in Oklahoma territory. He had been a resident of Wilburton since 1900, until his removal about eight years ago to Heavener.
Survivors include his wife and a step-daughter.
A separate notice from the newspaper shows that the funeral services were held Friday, June 28, 1940 at the Presbyterian Church in Wilburton, Okla.
