Alice Ruth Gilbert Yarbrough Duffee, age 89, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a retired teacher for handicap children for Baldwin County Board of Education.
She is survived by two sons, Myron Douglas (Chris) Yarbrough and Nolan Earl (T.J.) Yarbrough both of Bay Minette, AL; stepchildren, Carl Duffee of White House Fork and Lois Hall of Millry, AL; one brother, Morris Floyd Gilbert of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Doug (Carla) Yarbrough, Blake (Misty) Yarbrough, Robin Yarbrough (Kris) Stewart, Kellye Johnson Sanders, Chas (Robby) Gardner and Dessa (Matt) Curtis and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Yarbrough; her second husband, Pete Duffee; a daughter, Marilyn Yarbrough Johnson and two sisters, Evelyn Gilbert Hastings and Helen Gilbert Plato.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
