Margaret E Collins, age 90 of Bellevue, WA, died unexpectedly March 21, 2018. Margie was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 8,

1927 to Margaret Watson Edwards and Joseph Liggett Edwards. Her childhood was spent primarily in Nebraska and California, then she moved to Seattle and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She attended the University of Washington, and was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority, before graduating from Stanford University.

Margie was active in arts and crafts, particularly handweaving. She exhibited and sold her work at the Bellevue Arts and Crafts Fair, and various other local fairs, for several years. Later, she owned and operated a yarn and weaving supply shop, and taught handweaving. After retiring she raised specialty plants, ivy and succulents, as a hobby.

She loved animals, and over the years had a number of beloved pets; horses, dogs and cats, at her Bridle Trails home.

Margaret and her husband travelled extensively in their retirement years, and particularly enjoyed their numerous trips throughout Europe.

She and Richard (Dick) were married in November 1957 and lived in the Bridle Trails area of Bellevue from 1963 until 2005. Margie moved to the Crossroads area, and enjoyed living at the Sunrise Senior Community until her death. She is survived by her daughter Lisa of Bellevue, and two grandsons J. Reid Dilley and Paul Dilley; and by her brother and his wife; Joe and Marjorie Edwards, of Salinas California.

At her request, there will be no services. Remembrances may be made to Seattle Children's Hospital, Seattle, WA
