Son of Jacob and Veronica (Rahm) Uehlinger. His father Jacob died in Switzerland; his mother, Veronica traveled to America and settled in Corpus Christi. Veronica died on July 19, 1896.

Married to Barbara Ritzman on August 17, 1880.

Excerpt from Corpus Christi Times dated January 23, 1943 - Page 2:

Conrad Uehlinger was born in Switzerland and came to this country in 1863 with four brothers, two of whom enlisted in the Confederate Army. He has lived in Corpus Christi for 79 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Erna McFarland. Conrad operated a confectionary business.

John Uehlinger the eldest
He was a bakery owner and later did cattle raising on Padre Island. He remained a bachelor.

William Uehlinger was in the real estate business. He married Annie Dreyer.

Henry Uehlinger -- he and August bought the bakery business from John. He married Hettie Allen.

August Uehlinger -- he and Henry bought the bakery business from John. He married Ella Dreyer.

Lizzie Uehlinger Reuthinger - she married Jacob Reuthinger who was a farmer and also the owner of the first soft drink bottling works in Corpus Christi.

Barbara Uehlinger Busch -- she married Henry Busch. They had no children.

Margaret Dreyer -- she married Otto Dreyer who was the owner of a toy and confectionary store and he also operated a market in the city hall.
