Funeral services for Mr. Doyle Artigue will be held Monday June 7, 2004 at 11 a.m. in St. Landry Catholic Church with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Gene Tremie will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial. Mr. Artigue, 44, died Thursday June 3, 2004 at 6:20 p.m. in Opelousas General Hospital. He owned and Operated Artigue's Towing Service for 25 years and drove a St. Landry Parish School Bus for 23 years. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Sonnier Artigue of Lebeau; his mother, Hazel Morain Artigue of Lebeau; a son, Herbert Artigue of Lebeau; a daughter, Pamela Artigue of Palestine, TX; a brother, Michael Artigue and wife Carrannell of Krotz Springs; a sister, Debra Crawford and husband Curtis of Crosby, TX. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert Artigue. The family requests that visitation be at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Sunday, June 6, 2004 at 11 a.m. till 10 p.m. and on Monday from 8 a.m. till time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas in charge of the arrangements.
