Angelo L. García, age 52, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018.
Angelo is survived by his beloved wife, Celina García, children, Lawrence Valdéz, Adonis García and his fiancée, Desiree and Arissa Collins Gold and family, siblings, Gilbert Ortiz and his wife, Lila, Lorraine Aguilar and her husband, José Luís, Cathy Martínez and her husband, David and Edmond García as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Angelo was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo García and Mary Herrera and his daughter, Alisha García.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldón Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be Tom García, Michael Gómez, Michael Chávez, Raúl Chávez, Don Padilla and P.J. Abeyta. Honorary pallbearers will be Tristin Chávez, Frankie Acevedo Jr. and Duke.
